1. Laxman Jhula

Lakshman Jhula is located in Rishikesh in the state of Uttarakhand. It is a suspension bridge across the river Ganges. Built-in the year 1939 and set at a height of around 70 feet from the river. The jhula is a link between two important villages in Rishikesh. The bridge is made up of iron and is almost 450 feet long. It is a landmark of Rishikesh. 2. Triveni Ghat

Triveni Ghat is located in Rishikesh in the state of Uttarakhand. Believed that the ghat was visited by Lord Krishna when he got hurt by the arrow of Jara (a hunter). However, Triveni Ghat is the meeting point of three holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. It is the biggest and most famous ghat in Rishikesh at the banks of the Ganges. Further, famous for the Ganga aarti performed to the chants of Vedic hymns. And remains overcrowded with devotees where they take ritual baths to get cleansed from their sins. 3. The Beatles Ashram

The Beatles Ashram is located in Rishikesh in the state of Uttarakhand. Also known as Chaurasi Kutia. This place usually attracts nature lovers, experience seekers, peace seekers, photo lovers, and meditation enthusiasts. The calmness and tranquility of this place will leave you spellbound. The dome-shaped construction and colorful graffiti works are really stunning. At present, the ashram is run by Rajaji Tiger Reserve, located outside its boundary wall. 4. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is located in the Pauri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand. Situated at a height of 1,330m above sea level. Dedicated to Nilkanth, an aspect of Lord Shiva. Influenced by the Dravidian style of architecture and the inside tomb depicting the saga of Samudramanthan is one of the key attractions here. It is one of the most popular Shiva temples. The way to the temple is quite thrilling and several visitors prefer trekking for their way up to the temple. Further, visited by more than a thousand devotees from all over the world. The temple has a freshwater spring which attracts many devotees for a bath. Therefore, the best time to visit the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is from July to August. 5. Ram Jhula

Ram Jhula is located in Rishikesh in the state of Uttarakhand. Also known as the Shivananda Jhula. It is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges. Constructed in the year 1986, by the PWD and dedicated to the memory of Lakshman, brother of Ram. The bridge is about 450 feet long and connects two popular ashrams of the town – Swarg Ashram on one end and the Sivananda Ashram on the other. Thus, it is a must-visit place in the state of Uttarakhand.
