1. Jaisalmer Fort

Jaisalmer Fort is located in the city of Jaisalmer, in the state of Rajasthan. Built-in 1156 and gets its name from the former Bhati Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal. The walls of this 250 feet tall fort are made of crenelated sandstone. It ranks amongst the largest forts in the world. Patwon Ki Haveli is located in the state of Rajasthan. Built by a famous trader named Guman Chand and his sons. The entire construction is made of yellow sandstone. Locals also refer the haveli as Kothari’s Patwa Haveli. It consists of a museum having rare artifacts, furniture work, miniatures, mirror-work and a large collection of paintings. With over 60 balconies, the pillars and ceilings of this golden architecture are carved in intricate designs and miniature works. Therefore, it is one of the most famous places to visit in the Jaisalmer.
