1. Belur

Belur is a small town in Hassan district in the state of Karnataka. Popularly known as “Banaras of South” or “Dakshina Banaras”. It was the capital of the Hoysala Kingdom and also home to several monuments, temples, and holy shrines. The prime attraction in Belur is the Chennakesava temple complex which has a shrine dedicated to Chennakesava (Lord Vishnu). Another temple namely the Kappe Chennigaraya temple, built by Shantaladevi, stands next to it. There are two other temples in the complex. Hence, more than a thousand visitors come here every year. Further, Belur and Halebidu are the two crown jewels of ‘the Indian cultural heritage’  in Karnataka. Thus, this town must be visited once in a lifetime by all.

2. Hebbe Falls

Hebbe Falls is located in the Kemmangundi district of the state, Karnataka. Falls from a height of 551 feet in two stages to form Dodda Hebbe (Big Falls) and Chikka Hebbe (Small Falls.) This place attracts nature lovers and adventure seekers. The beautiful falls are located inside a coffee estate and can be reached either by a walk or via a two, four-wheeler. Further, this water is also believed to contain medicinal herbs offering healing qualities and so people here for a dip. Also, it is a heaven place for trekkers. 3. Mullayanagiri

Mullayyanagiri is located in the Chandra Dhrona Hill ranges in the state of Karnataka. Set at a height of 1,925 meters (6,316 feet). It is known for coffee plantations that are situated nearby. Therefore, it is the highest peak in Karnataka and also the highest peak in the Krishna River basin. The peak is adorned with verdant grassland, rough rocks, and a strong trekking track. On top of the peak, there is a small temple and its dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can also engage in various adventure activities like trekking, mountain biking, and camping. 4. Shivanasamudra Falls

Shivanasamudra Falls is located in the state of Karnataka. It consists of two waterfalls, one is Gaganachukki and the other is Bharachukki. It is popular for fishing and trekking. This is one of the best waterfalls in Karnataka. This place is an unexplored destination with not much crowd and also lots of waterfalls to visit here. It offers a visual treat to tourists.
