Varadharaja Perumal Temple is located in the city of Kanchipuram in the state of Tamil Nadu. Popularly known as Attiyuran or Hastagiri. However, believed to be built in 1053 by the Chola dynasty. The temple covers an area of 25 acres and, also home to more than 20 halls with more than 1000 pillars in them. Hence, it is one of the largest temples in India. 5. Vaikunda Perumal Temple

Built by the Pallava king Narasimhavarman II (720-96 CE) and, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Vaikunta Perumal Templeis more than 1000 years old. Further, this temple is the second oldest extant temple in Kanchipuram after the Kailasanthar temple.
